1. This article is really great because it looks at something that a lot the women my age are considering right now – I’m no surgeon, but even a writer (heck, any woman) can worry about things like this.
2. I realized something today: almost every close friend I have uses some sort of method to assess people: astrology, star signs, numerology, MBTI results, the list goes on. I think they do this as a way to better understand people and why they do things, which I can relate to. Like, why does Rob always put my keys on top of the refrigerator, even though he knows I can’t see that high? It drives me nuts. I’d love to know why he does that. So, for fun, here’s a free link to the MBTI test. I like this method of assessing behavior because it packages the way we use perception and judgement in our daily lives, which, to be honest, I can relate to more than zodiac signs, but maybe that’s just my hang up.
3. If you live in Canada (like me) then you know how pricey international shipping can be. In fact, most awesome online stores that are based in the U.S. and Europe won’t even ship to Canada because it’s so expensive (I’m looking at you, Zappos). It’s shit, really, because malls stress me out and it’s been too cold to shop downtown, outdoors, lately, so.. Anyway. I bought this snazzy pair of sandals from Aldo.com last week – shipping was FREE and the package arrived in 24 HOURS. And, best part, if I hate the sandals (which I don’t, I love them), I can return them to a nearby Aldo store; no nasty re-shipping! Huh, I feel a weight lifted.
Might blog some more this weekend, not sure yet. Rob and I have tickets to the Leafs game tomorrow, which makes me happy, because there is nothing quite as Toronto as dinner and a hockey game with your main squeeze.

What is your MBTI? I actually find it very accurate – I have taken it a few times over the last 10 years and I always get the same “type” – the only difference is the older I get the less in the middle I am on any of them, I don’t know if that is a good or a bad thing? I think it just means I am getting more comfortable with who I am, the older I get.
