This is a great conversation to start!

I think an important place to begin is to really solidify your overall or high-level "life objective". What do you want the execution of your ideas to achieve for you in the short, mid and long term? Once you've figured that out, I think it is easier to decide which projects or ideas are the best ones to help us achieve our goals and pour our energy into. When you have a new "big" idea ask yourself "Is this going to help me achieve my overall life objective?" If so, go for it.

It's also important to remember that not all ideas will or should make it out of your notebook and into the world. However, the very act of brainstorming can bring you to all kinds of great places. Also, ideas once executed should be examined to see if they truly are meeting our big objective; we shouldn't be afraid to walk away from them if they are not working for us.

We should also frequently ask ourselves if the objective we are working toward still rings true to us. As mature our life goals can change and our projects/actions may need to as well.

Now, having said that what I need help with is deciding what my overall life objectives are at this stage in my life.

Yes! I've been feeling like this too. The past 6 months or so I've been full of ideas & very inspired. This is good because prior to this I was feeling very uninspired & stagnant. I write everything down in my journal/idea book too. There are a lot of things that I want to do...NEED to do...but its almost like I am afraid to take the plunge. So, what I'm trying to do is just break these big things into smaller projects and try and do something that helps me work towards those goals everyday. I also wrote a letter to myself, which helped me put into perspective what I want to get done by the end of the year.
But yeah, "fear" is a big one. I need to get over that...
Good Luck with everything!! xo
