I try to go through a big reinvention every few years (or, I guess, it just starts shifting, then one day I rip the dang bandaid off), and definitely going through one right now, trying to make myself ballsier, more extroverted, and up-front about my FRIGGIN' DEMANDS TO THE UNIVERSE. I never thought of parting my hair on the other side, though. I'm absolutely doing that tomorrow. (And if it works out, am pretty sure you should develop a book of self-grooming related little zen koans -- personal evolution through minute physical changes. That could be a fun read!) I love this.
